深圳市現代供應鏈管理研究院是中國第一家供應鏈管理機構，注冊資本100萬元，被歐盟（UE）列入其經濟技術合作NCL序列，與國內外專業(yè)的物流和供應鏈管理研究機構建立了密切的合作關系。
深圳市現代供應鏈管理研究院由物流信息中心、指數開發(fā)中心、項目咨詢中心、項目運營中心、產業(yè)研究中心等五大研究中心組成。研究院為政府提供產業(yè)規(guī)劃、政策咨詢及建議、物流園區(qū)方案設計，同時還承擔著國家工信部深圳區(qū)域中小企業(yè)景氣指數、商務部深圳倉儲運營季報、廣東省制造業(yè)采購經理人指數、深圳市社會物流統(tǒng)計、深圳市物流發(fā)展運行景氣指數、深圳市企業(yè)景氣指數、深圳市制造業(yè)采購經理人指數、深圳市非制造業(yè)采購經理人指數、深圳市工業(yè)百強調查與分析的編制。研究院為企業(yè)提供供應鏈和物流管理咨詢、物流工程設計和規(guī)劃、供應鏈和物流流程優(yōu)化、物流技術應用和信息系統(tǒng)建設等方面的咨詢服務。

Shenzhen Modern Supply Chain Management Research Institute （SCMRI）is the first professional research institute focusing on the study of supply chain management. It is included in the European Union (UN) in its economic and technological cooperation NCL sequence and has established close relationships with many domestic and overseas institutes of logistics and supply chain management.

Shenzhen Modern Supply Chain Management Research Institute consists of 5 research centers, namely Logistics Information Center, Index Development Center, Project Consulting Center, Project Operation Center and Industry Research Center SCMRI provide government with industrial planning, policy advice and project design of  logistics parks, meanwhile it is also responsible for the compiling of the NFIB Index of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Warehousing Operations Quarterly Report, Guangdong PMI,  Shenzhen External Logistics Statistics Report , Shenzhen Logistics Development Booming Index, Shenzhen enterprise booming index, Shenzhen PMI, Shenzhen Non-manufacturing PMI, and Shenzhen Top 100 Enterprises Investigation and Analysis. SCMRI also provide enterprises service of supply chain management and logistics management consulting, logistics projects design, supply chain and logistics flow optimization, logistics technology application and construction of information system etc..
